My soul was once filled with hate and darkness. My only goal in life was to kill my brother. I thought that would make me happy. I finally killed him. I finally killed Itachi Uchiha, but at what cost? Leaving my own village when it was in need of help? Leaving behind my comrades and sensei? And worst of all…..leaving behind my best friend. My closest wish right now is to go back to Konoha, but I’m afraid they won’t
accept me after all I did. What should I do?
“Sasuke-kun? Are you awake?” I opened my eyes and was staring into the eager face of one of my newest comrades, Karin. She was an alright girl, but she always wanted to be around me and touch me in weird places. Groggily, I told her “Yes, I’m awake. Should we deliver the eight tail jinchuriki to Madara and Pein now?” “Whenever you’re ready Sasuke-kun.” I nodded and told her to leave while I got dressed. She pouted but did what she was told. I got dressed in my Akatsuki cloak and left my tent. I stepped outside into the bright sunlight and saw my other new teammates, Suigetsu and Jugo. They’re like my old teammates in every way. Karin is like Sakura because she has a big crush on me and wants to hang around me a lot. Jugo is like Naruto because they both can fly off the handle at any moment. And Suigetsu is somewhat like the old me because he quiet, secluded, and smirks when one of his other teammates screws up. I guess that would make me somewhat like Kakashi-sensei. It sure brings back memories.
~~~Flash back~~~
I was sitting quietly in my seat wait for our squad numbers and teammates to be announced. I wish Iruka-sensei would get here already and announce our teams so I could go and get something to eat. I glanced to the right and I couldn’t believe my eyes. Naruto was here as well. I heard he failed his exam when he couldn’t make a proper shadow clone. So why was he here? It didn’t matter to me so I turned back. Just as things were getting quiet, the sliding door opened and two of my biggest fans burst through the door; Ino Yamanaka and Sakura Haruno. They’re like stalkers in training because they either follow me around or chase me around the village until I can duck and cover in my apartment. It’s really creepy. I wish I could find a girl that wasn’t a freaky fan of me and is quiet. I pray I get someone like that on my team. While I was praying, I heard a dull thud. I looked over a saw Sakura push Naruto down. She asked if she could sit by me. I closed my eyes to tried and make her go away. I opened them to see if she went away, but instead I was looking into the goofy face of Naruto. He was staring at me with daggers in his eyes so I gave him the same look. Before I knew what was happening, Naruto’s lips were pressed against mine. It felt weird but at the same time, it felt kind of good. I looked into his eyes and saw that he had the same feelings as me. Everyone was giving us weird looks so we pulled away and started to gag. My fans started to beat Naruto up. I didn’t show it, but I thought that it was really funny. A few minutes later, Naruto was covered in lumps and Sakura was staring at me with hearts in her eyes. A few moments later, Iruka-sensei entered the room and said he was going to announce the teams. My life changed forever after that moment.

I felt so stupid. I told the leader of the Akatsuki that I was going to destroy Konoha. And the leader was going to go after him all because I told him where exactly to find him. I needed to warn him and the village for their invasion. “Sasuke? What’s wrong? You look depressed.” I looked up and saw Jugo looking down with sad eyes. I sighed and said I had to take care of something. And I had to do it alone. He nodded and walked away. I headed back to the tent and started to pack my things. I waited until nightfall for the others to sleep so I could head out to Konoha. We’re in the Lightning country now, so it would take a few days to get to the Fire country and a few more days to find Konoha. I had to hurry if I wanted to save him and the village.
